About Postcards from New Mexico

This three-times-a-month newsletter is dedicated to stories and images from beautiful New Mexico, and especially the part that’s my home — El Norté, the land north of Santa Fe, including Pueblo communities and towns of Española, Abiquiu, Taos, and surrounding areas. When you subscribe, you’ll receive a postcard three Sundays a month.

I’ve been living here since 2008 and have been blessed to have many opportunities to learn about the rich history and culture of this region. I love sharing it with others.

I’d love to hear what you’re interested in as I begin creating content for these weekly posts. Feel free to share your ideas with me through this Reader Survey.

Paid subscriber benefits:

  1. Access to the “If you go/Local’s Tips” section of some posts, where you find valuable insider information to enhance your next journey to Northern New Mexico

  2. A genuine snail-mail postcard! Within a couple of weeks of receiving your paid subscription, I’ll be in touch to ask for your mailing address and will drop a New Mexico postcard in the mail to you!

  3. In acknowledgement of living on un-ceded Tewa lands, I am donating 10% of net proceeds from paid subscriptions to Native-led nonprofit organizations in this region. Here are some of them:

Accountability statement: Donations will be made to one or more of these nonprofits within a month of receiving your paid subscription. I will send quarterly updates to paid subscribers to let you know how much has been forwarded to these nonprofits, thanks to your subscriptions.

Postcards from New Mexico is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
